In ways we don’t often realize, places stay with us long after we’ve left. Running deeper than geography, hometown, or postal code, place shapes our identity, determining the various ways in which we think, feel, and move through the world. There is something beautiful about it – how place leaves its mark on people.

As we move through the world, each place adds a new layer to who we are. Over time, we become patchwork quilts of stories, songs, energy, rhythm, experience – each moment fundamentally changing us. When we leave somewhere, our bodies become vessels. We move away physically only for each place to be held more deeply than before in some intangible space within.

In life, we are granted the opportunity to meet people. It is a gift to witness the myriad of ways in which place makes its imprint on who we are and who we become.
